An affluent crypto investor just moved a large amount of Shiba Inu (SHIB) coins as the dog-themed digital asset gains popularity on exchanges.

According to blockchain tracking service Whale Alert, the unknown whale transferred 3,333,256,285,484 SHIB worth $30,262,633 at time of the transaction on January 10th.

The funds were moved to a wallet with only one transaction to date. Despite the large amount of crypto involved, the whale only paid the equivalent of $4.24 in transfer fees.

Shiba Inu is one of Binance’s three most-watched cryptos in 2022 along with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Data from exchange and wallet ranking site CoinCarp show that two of the crypto titan’s wallets already hold over 9% of Shiba Inu supply.

Of the digital asset exchanges, Binance also has the highest balance for the token with 92,976,033,114,161 SHIB valued at $844,222,380. The world’s largest crypto trading platform is followed by Crypto.com with 55,309,654,679,990 SHIB worth $502,211,664 and OKX with 9,957,292,730,009 SHIB worth $90,412,217.

Earlier this week, the Shiba Inu ecosystem hinted at a potential partnership with North American luxury firm Bugatti Group with a video clip of bags and briefcases featuring images from the Shiboshi non-fungible token (NFT) collection.

SHIB is changing hands for $0.000009 at time of writing, down by 2.23% over the last 24 hours.
